Situated between the Catskill and Shawangunk mountain ranges, Inness boasts 28 cabins and a 12-room farmhouse as well as a restaurant, farm shop, tennis courts, two in ground pools, and, yes, a 9-hole golf course. Soon there will be a spa and gym. When guests arrive at Inness, they’re driven to their rooms in Jeeps. Every cabin comes with a lantern to encourage nighttime wandering. Bike racks are scattered throughout the campus, allowing guests to ride between points of interest with ease, taking in the scenery as they go. Their restaurant features items inspired by the diverse regions of the Mediterranean like handmade pasta, vegetables, fish and meat–locally sourced, whenever possible. You could really spend your whole weekend here or you can enjoy the restaurant, shop, and more social spaces without even booking a room.
